Graduate Building Surveyor – OCR Surveying (Director-Led Consultancy)
Location: Wimbledon & Central London (office + site-based)
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
Contract: Full-time, permanent

Summary
Join a director-led Chartered Building Surveying practice and gain hands-on project experience from day one. As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you’ll work directly with our Director of Surveying, developing your technical, communication and project management skills while progressing towards MRICS with structured APC support.
OCR Surveying delivers design and specification, contract administration and project management projects across London, predominantly for public-sector organisations, schools, libraries and community buildings. You’ll see how projects fit together end-to-end — from feasibility and design through procurement, delivery on site and handover.

Responsibilities
- Assist with building inspections, identify defects and help develop repair and improvement proposals
- Support feasibility studies and prepare project briefs, drawings, schedules of work, specifications and tender documentation
- Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and statutory authorities throughout the project lifecycle
- Attend client, design, pre-start and site progress meetings, preparing accurate records and following up agreed actions
- Carry out site inspections and help monitor programmes, budgets, quality, snagging, handover and defects
- Work in accordance with CDM Regulations, RICS professional standards and OCR Surveying procedures while progressing through the APC process

Qualifications
- Degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to learning
- Clear communication skills and confidence working with clients and contractors
- Interest in project-led Building Surveying and delivering refurbishment, repair and maintenance works
- Commitment to achieving RICS chartership
