Are you a building surveyor a few years into your career, looking for genuine APC support and a real next step rather than just another job? This is a great opportunity with a well-established, multidisciplinary practice with a strong regional reputation - the kind of place that invests properly in getting its people chartered, not just filling a desk.

If you're on the APC pathway already, or ready to start it, this role offers the structure and mentoring to actually get there, alongside broad, hands-on surveying work rather than being pigeonholed into one narrow slice of the job.

The Role

  • Supporting building surveys, defect diagnosis and condition reports across commercial, residential and public sector buildings
  • Assisting with contract administration, schedules of dilapidations and specification writing
  • Working closely with senior surveyors on live projects, with real client-facing exposure
  • Site visits and inspections across the region, so a full UK driving licence is needed

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
