Graduate Building Surveyor – London
£30,000 – £35,000 + benefits
We are currently working with a well-established and growing property consultancy in London who are looking to appoint a Graduate Building Surveyor to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to start their career in Building Surveying and work towards becoming a Chartered Surveyor.
The Role
As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you will gain exposure to a broad range of building surveying work, working alongside experienced surveyors and supporting on a variety of projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building and condition surveys
- Planned and reactive maintenance advice
- Defect diagnosis and reporting
- Preparation of schedules of condition
- Dilapidations
- Contract administration
- Project management
- Preparation of technical reports
- Assisting with refurbishment and alteration projects
- Attending client and site meetings
- Developing relationships with clients and contractors

About You
We are specifically looking for candidates who have:
- A degree in Building Surveying, or a RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career within building surveying
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- A professional and proactive approach
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Candidates without a Building Surveying degree or relevant RICS-accredited degree will not be considered for this particular position.
Previous work experience within surveying is beneficial but not essential, making this an ideal opportunity for a graduate looking to take their first step into the profession.
