Career

Suitable for someone within 2yrs of graduation, typically with an analytical mind and a bias towards high quality execution. You might be a management consultant who prefers delivery within a company rather than temporary advising, a finance analyst who prefers to sit near commercial decision making, or an analytical person looking for commercial delivery at the intersection of financial analysis, technology, and strategic insights.

About the role

The Business Analyst (BA) works closely for the business management of the investments side of our firm providing analytical support and insights. You will be expected to not only write reports, but work with the business to ensure key data flows are coming through, support governance reporting, and take on ad-hoc projects which may be varied in nature.

The BA will need to be hands on, commercial, and have an avid interest in using technology to improve their own ability to manage workflows and business insights. Ultimately this is about analytical and commercial support to our investment and portfolio management teams.

In supporting key senior stakeholders this role offers strong exposure to someone who is willing to roll their sleeves up and deliver and is a great entry point into a career within investments, portfolio management or strategic business management.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
