Job Description

Graduate Business Analyst

Location: London (Ropemaker Street)
Position Type: Full-time
Programme: Graduate Programme
Start date: September/October 2026

Department: Product Management (Business Analysis)

Are you analytical, curious and interested in how products and systems are designed and delivered? Do you enjoy translating ideas into practical solutions?

Join the SS&C Graduate Programme as a Graduate Business Analyst and work on real product and client delivery initiatives from day one. You’ll support experienced Business Analysts and collaborate across product, technology and delivery teams.

You’ll work within a live product team, building core business analysis skills and domain knowledge. Over time, you’ll take ownership of analysis deliverables and contribute independently to delivery initiatives.


What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting analysis of business problems, user needs and existing processes
  • Gathering and structuring information from different stakeholders and sources
  • Elicit, analyse and document business requirements and user stories
  • Support workshops and stakeholder discussions
  • Assist with solution validation and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Maintain documentation and traceability
  • Work with cross-functional teams on live delivery initiatives
  • Contribute to process and product improvements

What we’re looking for

Degree requirement (essential):

  • 2:2 or above in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related discipline
  • Graduated in 2025 or 2026

Essential skills:

  • Evidence of structured analysis or problem-solving
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to document processes or requirements clearly
  • Strong attention to detail and organisation
  • Experience working with structured information or data

Desirable:

  • Exposure to Jira or Confluence
  • Awareness of APIs, UML, BPMN or Agile
  • Basic knowledge of financial services
