Are you looking for a varied, fast-paced role where you can develop commercial, research, and relationship-building skills while working with industry-leading clients?
We are recruiting our next Graduate Business Development Executive to join our team!
This opportunity will introduce you to the exciting world of Consumer and Sensory Research, giving you exposure to global FMCG brands, providing the foundation for a successful career in business development, sales, client solutions, and commercial leadership. The role will be based in our London Bridge office and offers the chance to work closely with our Client Solutions, Research and Marketing teams whilst learning from experienced commercial professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Research prospective clients, market trends and growth opportunities across food, drink, personal care and household categories.
- Support outreach activities through email, LinkedIn and other channels to build relationships and generate commercial opportunities.
- Prepare for and support client conversations, helping to understand business challenges and identify where MMR can add value.
- Create tailored presentations, credentials and supporting materials for prospective clients and key accounts.
- Work closely with Business Development, Client Solutions, Research and Marketing teams to learn about our capabilities and bring opportunities to life.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and leveraging AI-enabled tools to support prospecting, pipeline management and commercial success.
- Help drive new business growth, with success measured by the quality and volume of meetings secured with prospective clients.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Have achieved a 2:1 degree or above.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage professionally and build relationships.
- Positive, resilient, goal-oriented and eager to learn, with a collaborative approach and enthusiasm for achieving results.
- Curious, commercially minded and interested in brands, consumer behaviour, innovation and business growth.
- Highly organised, proactive and self-motivated, with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable analysing information, solving problems and using technology to work efficiently.
