To support you during your first year with us, you’ll take part in Summit, Praetura’s dedicated graduate development programme.
Summit is designed to give you the skills and experience you need to build a successful career in financial services, while developing a strong network with other graduates across the Group. The Role
As a Graduate Business Development Executive, you’ll gain hands-on experience across the business development and deal process, building your knowledge of sales, credit, customer relationships and commercial finance.
This role would suit someone who is driven, confident and keen to develop a long-term career in sales and business development. You’ll work closely with our Business Development Managers and build relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, so strong communication and interpersonal skills will be key.

Responsibilities
- Managing Proposal Minder and maintaining accurate CRM records for call management and follow-up activity.
- Supporting the assessment and preparation of credit proposals.
- Providing complete and accurate information packs to the Credit team for underwriting.
- Developing a strong understanding of our credit policy and how it is applied.
- Supporting the efficient processing and management of proposals from initial enquiry through to payout.
- Providing support to Business Development Managers both pre- and post-payout.
- Preparing and collating documentation, including payout packs.
- Supporting allocated broker reviews, licensing requirements and annual reviews.
- Providing high-quality administrative and relationship support for BDMs when required.
- Ensuring deal administration and all business activity is completed in line with regulatory requirements and company expectations.
- Consistently working towards individual and company targets.
- Managing allocated third-party introducer relationships, helping to build loyalty, satisfaction and a regular flow of business.
- Delivering a consistently excellent experience for our brokers and customers.
