Edinburgh City Centre | Full-Time | On-Site | Immediate Start
Caledonia Group is expanding from its Edinburgh base, building opportunities for driven graduates who want hands-on experience, real development, and a genuine path into leadership. We partner with well-known UK brands spanning telecommunications, energy, charity, food and drink, and lifestyle sectors, running face-to-face campaigns that put businesses directly in front of customers.
Over the coming six to eight weeks, we're gearing up to launch in Glasgow and Aberdeen. Ahead of that, our focus is on building a strong foundation here in Edinburgh. We're hiring now, training people properly, and identifying the standout performers who'll help lead the next stage of our expansion.
If you're a recent graduate with an interest in business development, entrepreneurship, or working directly with people, this is a chance to gain real commercial experience without needing to relocate or wait years to move up. You'll get practical training, work closely with experienced colleagues, and learn firsthand how a business identifies opportunities, builds client relationships, and grows.
The Role
This role is based permanently in our Edinburgh office. You'll be coached by managers who started in the exact same position, learning the ins and outs of business development, client engagement, and the commercial strategy behind how a growing company wins and keeps customers. Further down the line, you'll have the option to move into one of our new teams as we launch in Glasgow or Aberdeen, but this is entirely optional. Prefer to grow your career in Edinburgh? That route is just as open to you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
