Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Graduate Business Systems Analyst to work onsite at one of our banking clients Regulatory Technology (RegTech) team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop a career at the intersection of banking, technology, data, and regulatory compliance.
The successful candidate will support the analysis, design, implementation, and enhancement of technology solutions that help the bank meet its regulatory obligations. Working closely with business stakeholders, compliance teams, technology teams, and external vendors, you will assist in translating regulatory requirements into business and system solutions.
This role offers exposure to key banking regulations, data management practices, business analysis techniques, and modern technology platforms used to deliver regulatory reporting, risk management, and compliance solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Assist in translating regulatory and compliance requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Support workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings to understand business processes and pain points.
- Create process maps, user stories, business requirements documents, and acceptance criteria.
Systems Analysis
- Analyse existing systems and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Support the design and implementation of technology solutions that meet regulatory requirements.
- Work with developers and solution architects to ensure business needs are accurately understood and delivered.
- Assist in documenting system functionality, integrations, and data flows.
Regulatory & Compliance Support
- Develop an understanding of regulatory frameworks impacting the banking sector.
- Support projects related to regulatory reporting, financial crime prevention, customer protection, operational resilience, and risk management.
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and assist in assessing business impacts.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyse data to support regulatory reporting and compliance initiatives.
- Assist in validating data quality and identifying data issues.
- Produce reports, dashboards, and management information to support decision-making.
- Support testing activities to ensure regulatory outputs are accurate and compliant.

Testing & Change Delivery
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system validation activities.
- Document test scenarios, test cases, and defects.
- Assist with implementation planning and change management activities.
- Support post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Operations, Technology, and Change teams.
- Build positive working relationships across the organisation.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
Essential
- Bachelor's degree in:
- Business
- Finance
- Economics
- Computer Science
- Information Systems
- Data Analytics
- Mathematics
- Engineering
- Or a related discipline
Desirable
- Placement year or internship experience in banking, consulting, technology, or financial services.
- Knowledge of business analysis methodologies.
- Understanding of banking products and services.
