Graduate C# Engineer - Maidenhead - Permanent

I am looking for a graduate software engineer for a company in Maidenhead, this role is hybrid, 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain software for products across the full stack: C#/.NET, SQL Server, and React/TypeScript.
  • Learn and apply the team's coding, testing and database standards, with support from senior engineers.
  • Use AI coding assistants and agents such as Claude Code effectively, and critically review, test and validate what they produce before it is committed.
  • Write and maintain automated tests (unit, database and end-to-end) so that changes meet documented requirements.
  • Investigate, debug and resolve defects in development and production, and document the fixes clearly.
  • Work with the Product Owner to understand requirements and help estimate feature work.
  • Work with QA Engineers on test plans and resolve issues raised during release stabilisation.
  • Take part in Agile ceremonies, code reviews and team discussions about technical approaches.
  • Communicate your progress clearly and ask for help early when you're blocked.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
