Graduate CAD Technician (AutoCAD)

£28,000 - £32,000 + Company Bonus (OTE £40k) + Training + Progression + 33 Days Holiday + Early Friday Finish

Location: Ashford

Are you a Graduate CAD Technician or similar with AutoCAD experience, looking to join a thriving company, where you will deliver large scale projects for a variety of high-profile clients, offering further development to make you a fully qualified Design Engineer?

Your role will involve the review of drawings to ensure they are correct for the Production team including the correct materials have been selected. You will assist the Production Team with any queries they may have, produce bills of materials and log all technical queries, as well contribute to research development and new designs using AutoCAD.

Established for over 40 years, this industry-leading and ambitious company is continuing to expand its product portfolio and customer base. Due to this ongoing growth, they are looking to strengthen their team with a CAD Technician, supporting the design, development and production of their innovative industrial door products.

This role would suit a Graduate CAD Technician, looking to receive full industry training to begin their career with further progression opportunities to senior positions.

The Role:

  • Using AutoCAD to create 2D drawings and documents for approval
  • Reviewing bespoke building material designs and technical drawings
  • Contribute to research and development projects, including the creation of new designs
  • Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm
  • Company bonus, up to £5000 annually
