GIG Retail (a Smollan company)
Full Time, Permanent

Who are we?

We’re GIG – a people-first business with creativity and commerce at our heart. We work with brands and retailers across the globe, delivering strategic retail media solutions that cut through the noise. We’re driven by our values – from Integrity and Accountability to having People at Heart. It’s how we do business, and it’s why our team is at the centre of everything we do.

The role:

As a retail media agency, we act as the bridge between retailers and FMCG brands. We’re looking for a high-energy individual, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to build and progress a career in retail media.

In this position, you will play a key role in collaborating with brands to manage their marketing campaigns, within the framework of documented processes for your named clients. You will follow established procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in campaign execution.

You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our operations administration and should be able to build professional relationships, ensuring open communication and alignment across your stakeholders (the retailer, the brands and our internal sales team).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute end-to-end administrative workflows across marketing campaign bookings, ensuring strict adherence to internal and external processes.
  • Manage detailed spreadsheets with a high degree of accuracy. You will be responsible for identifying any discrepancies and ensuring data integrity across all platforms.
  • Represent the business in a professional manner, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and brands.
  • The delivery of printed and digital media assets, ensuring all creative materials comply with brand toolkits and specific client requirements.
  • Act as a first line of defence for day-to-day challenges, escalating when needed to the Campaign Operations Manager.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
