Role Overview
As a Carbon and Energy Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering carbon and energy management projects. This is an exciting opportunity to start your career in sustainability, working alongside experienced consultants to help clients reduce emissions, improve energy efficiency, and meet compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Collect, validate, and analyze energy and carbon data for client projects.
- Prepare compliance reports and evidence packs for schemes such as CCA, Min Met, EII, SECR, ESOS, and UK ETS.
- Assist in energy audits and carbon footprint assessments.
- Support development of carbon reduction strategies and Net Zero plans.
- Contribute to client presentations, proposals, and workshops.
- Maintain strong working relationships through clear communication and timely delivery.
- Stay up to date with UK energy and carbon legislation.
- Help clients understand and meet regulatory obligations.
- Contribute ideas for improving processes and tools.
- Support internal training and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications
- Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or related discipline.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of UK carbon compliance schemes (SECR, ESOS, UK ETS).
- Familiarity with greenhouse gas accounting and carbon footprinting.
- Experience with data analysis tools or energy management software.
- Interest in sustainability and Net Zero strategies.
