Due to the promotion of the current postholder, we have a vacancy in our Civils Department for a Graduate Civil Engineer.
You would be working in a small, friendly team in our Maidstone Office, handling the Civils & Drainage aspects of a range of projects, varying from extensions and single properties up to housing estates, schools, industrial estates and more.
Your role will include:
- Design of the Civil & Below Ground Drainage elements of developments (including level design).
- Extensive use of AutoCAD.
- Undertaking detailed drainage network modelling and simulation within MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage.
- Obtaining permission for new sewer connections, build-overs, and adoptions with local water authorities, and the production of the associated drawings and documents.
- Production of Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy Reports.
- Compiling and making S278 applications to Local Authorities.
- Liaising with Clients, Contractors, and other professionals.

Essential experience:

- An appropriate Engineering degree to a good standard (2.1 or better).
- Basic use of AutoCAD.
- MS Office Literate.
- Right to work in the UK.
Useful experience:
- Previous Design Experience
- Use of Site 3D software.
- Use of Drainage Modelling software.
