We're recruiting Graduate Civil Engineers for opportunities across our energy, water and civil engineering divisions.

The opportunity

Our three-year graduate programme combines structured development with hands-on project experience. From the start, you'll contribute to live projects, work alongside experienced teams and develop the technical, commercial and leadership skills needed to build a successful career in civil engineering.

We will ensure you have the right support through our structured buddy programme, graduate network and experienced teams on site.

You'll have opportunities to contribute to projects across:

  • Coasts & ports
  • Energy
  • Water utilities
  • Infrastructure
  • Buildings

What you'll be doing

Depending on project requirements and business needs, you'll gain experience across a range of sectors and disciplines, developing a broad understanding of how major civil engineering projects are planned, managed and delivered.

You could be involved in:

  • Supporting the delivery of major civil engineering projects from planning through to completion
  • Assisting with site engineering, quality and technical activities
  • Helping to solve engineering challenges and improve project performance
  • Working with project teams to manage programmes, costs and resources
  • Building strong relationships with clients, supply chain partners and colleagues
  • Contributing to safe, efficient and sustainable project delivery

What we're looking for

You'll be completing, or have recently completed, a degree in:

  • Civil Engineering
  • Construction Management

We're also looking for people who:

  • Want to take responsibility and make a difference
  • Are eager to learn and develop
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • Communicate confidently and build positive relationships
  • Take ownership and show initiative
  • Share our commitment to high standards and continuous improvement

A full UK driving licence, or the ability to obtain one before joining, is essential.
