A specialist engineering consultancy is looking for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join its growing team in Oxford, working on a range of geotechnical and foundation engineering projects.
This is a great opportunity for a recent Civil Engineering graduate looking to build their technical experience within a specialist environment. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and gain exposure to investigation, monitoring, and foundation-related projects.
The Role Will Involve
- Supporting geotechnical and foundation engineering projects
- Assisting with site investigations and ground monitoring
- Collecting and interpreting site data
- Supporting the installation and monitoring of instrumentation
- Assisting with foundation assessments and geotechnical analysis
- Preparing technical reports and project documentation
- Working with engineers and project teams to deliver projects
- Visiting sites across the UK as required
- Developing your technical knowledge through on-the-job training

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering subject
- An interest in geotechnical engineering and foundations
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A willingness to travel to site when required
- A proactive approach and genuine interest in developing a career in geotechnical engineering

Previous industry experience is not essential, although any university projects, placements, or experience relating to geotechnics, foundations, structural monitoring, or site investigation would be beneficial.
