Graduate Civil Engineer : Infrastructure and Drainage
Location: Oxfordshire
Salary: Up to GBP30,000 per annum
A well-established engineering consultancy in Oxfordshire is looking to appoint a Graduate Civil Engineer to join its growing infrastructure and drainage team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Civil Engineer with a strong BEng or MEng in Civil Engineering and a genuine interest in infrastructure, highways, and drainage design. You will have the opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of residential and commercial developments, gaining hands-on experience across the full design process.
The Role

As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will support the design and delivery of infrastructure and drainage solutions for a range of residential and commercial projects. Working alongside experienced engineers, your responsibilities will include:

- Producing civil engineering and drainage designs for development projects
- Supporting surface water and foul drainage design
- Preparing technical drawings and design information
- Assisting with infrastructure and highway layouts
- Working with project teams, clients, and other consultants
- Developing your technical knowledge and design skills through project experience
About You
We are looking for a Graduate Civil Engineer who is enthusiastic about developing a career within civil engineering consultancy and has a particular interest in infrastructure and drainage.
You Should Have
- A strong BEng or MEng degree in Civil Engineering
- A genuine interest in infrastructure and drainage design
- Good understanding of fundamental civil engineering principles
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- A willingness to learn and develop professionally
- Knowledge of InfoDrainage or MicroDrainage would be advantageous
- Experience with Civil 3D would be beneficial, although not essential
