The Opportunity
Our Roads, Civil and Engineering team thrives on the diversity of our work. Projects undertaken by the team include roads and streets, public realm design, sustainable urban drainage, utilities co-ordination, water and wastewater treatment and energy related projects. We often play a key role in large-scale multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects. The team is involved in projects throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept stage through to detailed design and construction, for a wide range of both public and private sector Clients.
Sustainability is at the core of our project delivery, where we focus on making best use of existing assets, delivering high value, low carbon solutions for our clients and end users. This role will include the delivery of projects of a wide variety of scale and complexity in the discipline of Civil Engineering, Roads and Streets and multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects, which can also include Pavement, Aviation, Rail, Water and Energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out assessment, analysis, and design
- Preparing feasibility studies, design reports, drawings, calculations, and specifications
- Collaborating with Arup colleagues in other disciplines
- Working with multidiscipline delivery teams
- Meeting with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders, including site visits

Is this role right for you?
For this opportunity, we are seeking the following qualifications, skills and attributes:
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant academic discipline, such as Civil Engineering.
Skills And Technical Experience Such As:
- 2D or 3D design software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar.
- Engineering assessment and analysis (e.g. hydraulic modelling).
- Communication and presentation skills

To Be Considered For a Graduate Opportunity, Your Application Must Include a Copy Of Your Academic Transcript And Meet The Following Criteria:
- Full working rights in the country of application
- No more than 12 months of full-time experience in a comparable role
- Recently graduated, or on track to graduate, from your most recent degree, related to your role of choice, before employment starts.
