Location: Pippingford Manor, Nutley, East Sussex

Working pattern: Full-time, with at least three - four days each week in the office

Salary: £28,000 per annum

Technology recruitment is a complex, fast-moving market. You will learn how to interpret business signals, understand emerging technologies, analyse workforce trends and turn information into commercial opportunities.

Working directly with an experienced TalentHawk consultant, you will be trusted with meaningful responsibility from the outset and supported to develop towards a future consultant role.

Your role

You Will Work Across Three Connected Areas

Client engagement and lead generation

  • Research companies, technology programmes and commercial triggers.
  • Identify relevant senior decision-makers and potential client requirements.
  • Design and manage targeted lead-generation campaigns.
  • Analyse campaign performance and manage opportunities through the pipeline.
  • Contact prospects directly and secure introductory meetings.
  • Prepare client briefings, presentations, proposals and follow-up material.
  • Produce accurate weekly pipeline analysis for the Directors.

Workforce intelligence

  • Build relationships with specialist technology contractors and permanent candidates.
  • Understand their experience, motivations, availability and career plans.
  • Identify emerging skills shortages and changing workforce requirements.
  • Turn individual conversations into useful market intelligence.
  • Help consultants connect strong candidates with relevant client challenges.
  • Maintain an accurate view of the available workforce within your specialist market.

AI, automation and data

  • Learn how AI and automation are changing recruitment and sales.
  • Use ATS and data-enrichment tools.
  • Build and test automated engagement campaigns.
  • Analyse results and recommend improvements.
  • Review AI-generated material for accuracy, relevance, tone and bias.
  • Help develop more intelligent, efficient and personalised recruitment processes.

This is an outward-facing and data intensive role. You should enjoy speaking with people, asking intelligent questions and developing professional relationships and getting results through the application of technology.

Who We Are Looking For

You will have completed, or be close to completing, a degree and be ready to apply what you have learned in a demanding commercial environment.

Your degree could be in business, economics, psychology, marketing, technology, data, humanities, social sciences or another subject that has developed strong analytical, research and communication skills.

You Will Also Bring

  • Intellectual curiosity and an interest in how businesses, people and technology connect.
  • The confidence to communicate with experienced professionals and senior stakeholders.
  • Commercial awareness and an interest in sales and business development.
  • The ability to analyse information and recognise patterns, risks and opportunities.
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills.
  • An interest in AI, automation and emerging technology.
  • The resilience to follow up professionally and learn from setbacks.
  • An ideas-led mindset and a desire to improve how things are done.
  • Strong Excel, Word and Presentation skills.
