Graduate Commerce Executive (Entry-Level | No Experience Required)

About the Role

Are you a recent Commerce graduate looking to start your professional career? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Commerce Executive to join our business operations team. This entry-level role is ideal for graduates who are interested in business operations, finance, sales support, procurement, administration, and commercial analysis.

No prior professional experience is required. Full training and mentorship will be provided to help you build a successful career in commerce and business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day business and commercial operations.
  • Support financial record-keeping and basic accounting activities.
  • Help prepare business reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Assist in procurement, purchasing, and vendor coordination.
  • Support sales operations and customer relationship management.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to support business decisions.
  • Maintain accurate business records and documentation.
  • Assist with inventory and supply chain coordination where required.
  • Support invoice processing and order management activities.
  • Collaborate with finance, sales, marketing, and operations teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and business procedures.
  • Perform general administrative and commercial support duties.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Recent graduate or up to 1 year of experience.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Basic understanding of business and commercial operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic knowledge of accounting and financial principles.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel functions and reporting.
  • Knowledge of ERP or CRM systems is an advantage.
  • Understanding of procurement, inventory management, or supply chain concepts is beneficial.
  • Internship, placement year, or academic business projects are a plus but not required.
