Commercial Sales Trainee · Cardiff - Office Based (Mon-Fri) · £28,000-£30,000
Our client is looking for an ambitious and commercially minded graduate to join their Cardiff team as a Commercial Sales Trainee. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing business within the HVAC sector, offering structured training, long-term progression and the chance to build a successful career in sales.
This business supplies HVAC controls and combustion equipment to customers across the UK, working with contractors, distributors and FM companies nationwide. Backed by a large UK group with over 90 locations, they are known for investing heavily in graduate development and promoting from within.

The Role
You'll begin by learning the operational side of the business, spending time across different departments before moving into the commercial sales team. Once settled, you'll manage existing customer accounts while also identifying and developing new business opportunities.
You'll work closely with experienced managers who will provide ongoing mentoring, alongside external sales training and tailored internal development.

Responsibilities
- Managing and developing existing customer accounts
- Building strong long-term client relationships
- Supporting new business growth across the UK
- Producing quotations and providing technical support
- Liaising with suppliers and internal teams
- Conducting market research and identifying opportunities
- Completing weekly sales reporting and administration
