  • Five-month fixed-term contract commencing November 2026
  • Hybrid working with a minimum of three days per week in our London office (Wednesday is a core office day). To maximise the internship experience, interns are encouraged to spend four days per week in the office.
  • Recruitment and interviews will take place during October 2026
  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for internship roles.

The Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Compliance Analyst to join our Compliance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who is interested in developing a career in compliance within the banking sector.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a major compliance project focused on building and maintaining the Bank's Regulatory Universe, providing a comprehensive overview of the Bank's permissions, obligations, and requirements. Alongside this, the role offers exposure to compliance governance, horizon scanning, and regulatory change management, providing a strong foundation in how a regulated financial institution operates.

This role is suited to someone who enjoys research, analysis, data management, and interpreting regulatory information.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the Compliance team in maintaining regulatory information, records, and documentation.
  • Assist with monitoring and tracking regulatory requirements relevant to the Bank's activities and permissions.
  • Prepare, analyse, and present compliance management information and governance reports.
  • Support horizon scanning activities by monitoring regulatory developments, industry updates, and emerging risks.
  • Contribute to the preparation and distribution of regulatory updates, newsletters, and awareness communications.
  • Maintain accurate compliance records and ensure information is organised and up to date.
  • Assist with administrative activities across the Compliance function, including data collection, document management, and reporting.
  • Work collaboratively with Compliance colleagues to support ongoing monitoring, governance, and compliance programmes.
  • Develop a broad understanding of banking regulations, regulatory obligations, and compliance best practices.

We’re Looking For

  • Recent graduate with a degree in: Law, Business Studies, English, Finance or a related discipline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to analyse information and present findings clearly.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
  • Strong research and data management capabilities.
  • Interest in regulation, governance, risk, or compliance.
