Graduate Consultant
Are you a recent graduate interested in building a career in consulting and technology? Join us as a Graduate Consultant and take on meaningful project work from an early stage, helping you develop both your technical expertise and commercial awareness.
We deliver complex, technology-driven projects, primarily within the UK public sector. Our clients include organisations such as the Home Office, Ministry of Defence, Department for Transport, Ministry of Justice, police forces, and the Department for Education.
Our work spans a wide range of areas, including architecture development, cyber security, programme and project management, and data engineering, analytics, and AI. We have a strong track record of successful delivery and are recommended to contribute to some of the UK Government’s most high-profile and confidential projects.
The variety of our clients and projects means you will be exposed to diverse technical and business challenges, assisting your development across multiple disciplines.
Start Dates: January - June 2027
Key Responsibilities
As part of a collaborative team, you will contribute to consultancy projects that combine technology and business engagement. You will work with stakeholders to assist the delivery of technology-enabled change in ways that are effective, secure, and appropriate to client needs.
As your career develops, you will have opportunities to build expertise in areas such as:

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
We welcome applicants with strong critical thinking and an interest in technology. We value curiosity, willingness to learn, and the aptitude to collaborate with others as well as work alone.
Our work can be fast-paced and varied, so we look for people who are adaptable, thoughtful in their approach, and comfortable working with new or unfamiliar topics.
You are likely to have:
- A degree in a STEM or related discipline (postgraduate study is beneficial but not required)
- An interest in how technology is applied in business or public sector contexts
The following skills and experiences are helpful but not essential:
- Clear communication techniques, including presenting ideas and recommendations
- Confidence engaging with a range of stakeholders
- An openness to learning new subject areas
- The aptitude to build and maintain positive working relationships
- Experience (academic, professional, or extracurricular) in technical or consulting-related environments
Additional Requirements

Working Arrangements
We offer a hybrid working model, with an office base in Guildford and access to our other locations in London, Swindon, and Cheltenham.
Project needs may involve a mix of:
- Working from home
- Time in the office
- Time on client sites (often 2–3 days per week, though some projects may require more on-site presence)
Some roles may involve occasional travel or short stays away from home during the working week.
You will work within a team-based environment, with opportunities to contribute to internal initiatives.
Career Development
You will be guided by a mentor throughout your time with us. In addition, a Performance and Development Manager will work with you to review your progress, set career goals, and identify training opportunities aligned with your development and project experience.
