About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Graduate to join our forward-thinking Municipal team. This is an innovative team where the progression opportunities are substantial. By supporting the Municipal team through the analysis and profiling of operational performance to identify performance insights you’ll be part of the team with a mission to improve daily performance levels. Role is offered an initial 24 Months Fixed Term Contract. Permanency will be attained on successful completion of the programme. Some travel within the region will be expected. Based at Milton Keynes. £31,000 as a basic salary + 3% Bonus + Benefits.

What will I be Doing?

You’ll support the Contract Management team by collecting, analysing and reporting data across a municipal contract. The role will focus on tracking operational performance against KPIs, identifying trends and helping the team understand where performance can be improved.

You’ll work with a range of data, including operational, HR and Health & Safety information, and produce regular reports for Contract Managers and clients. As you develop in the role, you’ll also gain exposure to contract finances, including expenditure, budgets and Profit & Loss reporting, helping you build an understanding of how operational performance links to financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track operational performance against contract KPIs
  • Maintain and update regular performance reports
  • Collect, cleanse and check data for accuracy
  • Identify trends, issues and areas for improvement
  • Support internal reporting for Contract Managers
  • Assist with external client performance reports
  • Track HR and Health & Safety performance measures
  • Support wider company reporting requirements
  • Develop an understanding of contract costs, budgets and P&L performance

What are the Requirements?

  • Graduate in the last 3 years – ideally a graduate in any STEM subjects, Economics, Business, Accounting or finance degrees. (Others can be considered).
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office
  • Comfortable working with numbers and data
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Adaptable and comfortable working across different areas of the contract
  • Able to work independently while also supporting a wider team
  • Good communication skills
  • Organised and able to manage different priorities
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential for this position
