Graduate Data Analyst
About the Role
Are you a recent Data Analytics graduate looking to launch your career in analytics and business intelligence? We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and analytical Graduate Data Analyst to join our growing team. This entry-level role is ideal for graduates who are passionate about analysing data, uncovering business insights, and helping organisations make informed, data-driven decisions.
No prior professional experience is required. Full training and mentorship will be provided to help you develop practical expertise in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, dashboard development, and data visualisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyse data from multiple business sources.
- Identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights using analytical techniques.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Business Intelligence tools.
- Write SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse data.
- Create visualisations to communicate business performance and KPIs.
- Support data quality, governance, and validation processes.
- Assist with forecasting, trend analysis, and performance reporting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical requirements.
- Document analytical methodologies and reporting processes.
- Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Assist with automation of reports and data workflows where applicable.
- Stay up to date with emerging analytics tools and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Recent graduate or up to 1 year of experience.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of data analysis, statistics, and reporting concepts.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Passion for learning new technologies and analytical tools.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, or R.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar Business Intelligence tools.
- Basic understanding of data visualisation principles and dashboard development.
- Knowledge of Excel functions such as Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, and Charts.
- Familiarity with databases, ETL concepts, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is an advantage.
- Academic projects, internships, GitHub repositories, or portfolio projects involving data analytics are beneficial but not required.
