Katie Bard is currently recruiting for a temporary Data Protection & Risk Assistant to join one of our clients. This is Hybrid.

The Role
Working as part of a wider data protection function, you will support the team with the day-to-day management of data protection requests, administration and related activities.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and managing a data protection inbox
- Reviewing and recording incoming requests
- Allocating requests to the appropriate team members
- Liaising with internal departments to obtain relevant information
- Compiling information and supporting responses
- Assisting with Subject Access Requests (SARs)
- Reviewing and organising information and documentation
- Supporting the preparation and completion of requests
- Ensuring information is handled accurately, securely and confidentially
- Maintaining accurate records and monitoring deadlines
- Providing general administrative support to the wider data protection team

Requirements
Applicants will need to be:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information
- Able to follow established processes and work accurately
- A clear and professional communicator
- Confident using email and Microsoft Office
- Able to manage multiple requests and deadlines effectively
Previous experience within data protection is beneficial but not essential, as full guidance, training and established processes will be provided.
