Katie Bard is currently recruiting for a temporary Data Protection & Risk Assistant to join one of our clients. This is Hybrid.

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established organisation and develop your experience within a professional environment. The Role

Working as part of a wider data protection function, you will support the team with the day-to-day management of data protection requests, administration and related activities.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and managing a data protection inbox
  • Reviewing and recording incoming requests
  • Allocating requests to the appropriate team members
  • Liaising with internal departments to obtain relevant information
  • Compiling information and supporting responses
  • Assisting with Subject Access Requests (SARs)
  • Reviewing and organising information and documentation
  • Supporting the preparation and completion of requests
  • Ensuring information is handled accurately, securely and confidentially
  • Maintaining accurate records and monitoring deadlines
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider data protection team

Requirements

Applicants will need to be:

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Able to follow established processes and work accurately
  • A clear and professional communicator
  • Confident using email and Microsoft Office
  • Able to manage multiple requests and deadlines effectively

Previous experience within data protection is beneficial but not essential, as full guidance, training and established processes will be provided.
