Graduate Data Scientist
About the Role
Are you a recent Data Science graduate looking to launch your career in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and advanced analytics? We are seeking a curious, analytical, and motivated Graduate Data Scientist to join our growing team. This entry-level role is ideal for graduates who are passionate about solving complex business problems using data, developing predictive models, and transforming raw information into meaningful insights.
No prior professional experience is required. Full training and mentorship will be provided to help you build practical expertise in data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, preprocess, and analyse structured and unstructured datasets.
- Develop, test, and evaluate machine learning models under the guidance of senior team members.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Build predictive models to support business decision-making.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualisations to communicate analytical findings.
- Write SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from databases.
- Assist in feature engineering and model optimisation activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop AI-driven business solutions.
- Document methodologies, model performance, and technical findings.
- Support the deployment and monitoring of machine learning models.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science.
- Follow data governance, security, and privacy best practices.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Recent graduate or up to 1 year of experience.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of statistics, probability, and machine learning concepts.
- Basic knowledge of Python programming.
- Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with data structures and algorithms.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and logical reasoning.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of Python, SQL, and R.
- Familiarity with machine learning libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Basic understanding of Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
- Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau for data visualisation.
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Git and version control.
- Academic projects, internships, research work, Kaggle competitions, GitHub repositories, or personal portfolio projects are beneficial but not required.
