About the Role
Are you a recent Engineering graduate looking to launch your design career with a highly respected manufacturing business? This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative engineering company known for designing and manufacturing bespoke products for customers across a range of industries.
Working as part of an experienced design team, you'll gain hands-on exposure to the full product development lifecycle, from concept generation and 3D modelling through to manufacturing support and continuous product improvement.
What you'll be doing
- Producing 3D CAD models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings
- Supporting the design and development of new and existing products
- Assisting with prototype development, testing, and validation activities
- Working closely with manufacturing, production, and procurement teams
- Participating in design reviews and continuous improvement projects
- Ensuring designs meet customer, quality, and manufacturing requirements
- Supporting project delivery from concept through to production

What we're looking for
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes
- Experience using 3D CAD software through university projects, placement years, or internships
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Enthusiastic attitude with a desire to learn and develop
- Placement year or industrial experience would be advantageous but not essential
