The Role

We’re looking for a Graduate Development Advisor who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, driving learning and development initiatives, and creating meaningful development journeys for Emerging Talent.

Key Accountabilities
Emerging Talent Programme Management
- Use your programme management and stakeholder engagement skills to lead the development agenda for Graduates and Interns across IWPB and Finance programmes.
- Apply your expertise in learning and development to create and deliver engaging development journeys from induction through to programme completion and transition into permanent roles.
- Manage the Off-Cycle Internship Programme by leveraging your organisational and relationship-building skills to support programme delivery, intern development, and line manager engagement.
- Use your analytical skills to monitor programme performance, retention, attrition, and diversity metrics, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the delivery of Global Graduate Induction initiatives, ensuring a high-quality experience for participants.
- Collaborate with onboarding teams and programme coordinators to ensure a seamless candidate and graduate onboarding experience.
- Use your judgement and influencing skills to support diversity and inclusion objectives across Emerging Talent programmes.
- Partner with colleagues across EMEA, Hong Kong, and the US to share best practices, align programme approaches, and support global consistency.
Learning & Development
- Collaborate with Graduate Recruitment colleagues to support internship-to-graduate conversions and deliver a consistent participant experience.
- Use your communication and consultation skills to prepare and support line managers throughout key graduate programme milestones.
- Apply your expertise in learning and development to help shape training curricula that align with future skills strategies and business needs.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with external training providers to ensure high-quality learning solutions.
- Contribute to the review, planning, design, and execution of graduate induction and development initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on graduate performance, conduct matters, and programme-related challenges.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across business functions, HR teams, and external partners.
- Use your problem-solving skills to identify improvements that enhance the graduate and intern experience.
- Contribute ideas that strengthen programme effectiveness, operational efficiency, and participant outcomes.
- Continuously develop your understanding of the business, culture, and Emerging Talent best practices to support strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with the wider graduate development community to share knowledge, insights, and innovative approaches.
Skills & Requirements
Must-Have
- Demonstrated ability in Emerging Talent, Graduate Programme, Internship Programme, Learning & Development, or broader HR programme management.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels of seniority.
- Ability to navigate complex, matrixed organisations and work effectively across multiple teams and geographies.
- Strength in communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences.
- Demonstrated analytical capability, including the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into recommendations.
- Ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple workstreams, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- Ability to coach, advise, and support stakeholders on graduate development, performance, and programme-related matters.
- Experience working collaboratively within global teams and contributing to shared goals.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and virtual collaboration platforms.
- Experience using HR systems, databases, or programme management tools.

Nice-to-Have
- Experience supporting the design, redesign, or continuous improvement of Graduate or Internship development programmes.
- Knowledge of learning curriculum design, talent development, or future skills frameworks.
- Experience working with external learning providers or training vendors.
- Understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles within Emerging Talent programmes.
- Experience supporting global or regional talent development initiatives across multiple locations.
- Exposure to financial services, banking, or large multinational organisations.
