Job Description

Your Responsibilities

From day one, build experience across electrical, electronic, control and instrumentation activities. As your confidence grows, you'll take on more responsibility and develop the technical judgement needed for a career in EC&I engineering.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Support the design and specification of electrical, control and instrumentation systems.
  • Prepare calculations, drawings, schedules, reports and design documentation.
  • Contribute to requirements capture, design reviews and technical assurance.
  • Work with mechanical, process, safety and digital teams to manage interfaces.
  • Support testing, verification and technical problem-solving.

Qualifications

Your Strengths and Requirements for Success

We’re looking for graduates who:

  • Have, or expect to achieve, a degree in Electrical, Electronic, Control, Mechatronics or Power Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • Are curious, motivated to learn and ready to put ideas into practice.
  • Communicate clearly and enjoy working with others.
  • Can think logically, solve problems and pay attention to detail.
  • Are excited by the opportunity to build a career on complex projects.

Additional Information

Eligibility Requirements:

To join our Graduate Scheme, you must be a UK sole national and a UK resident, as this is required for the type of work we do. You’ll also need to be able to obtain a minimum of Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance, with some roles requiring higher levels of clearance.

As part of the programme, you should also be willing to relocate or travel within the UK, and we’ll provide relocation support where needed.
