Graduate Electrical Engineer
A growing clean energy technology business is looking for a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join its engineering team and contribute to the development of innovative power and energy systems.
This is a hands-on opportunity suited to a graduate who wants exposure to both theoretical and practical engineering, working alongside experienced engineers across design, testing, commissioning, and product development.
Graduate Electrical Engineer Responsibility
You will support the development and implementation of electrical systems, working across a variety of engineering activities including:
- Supporting the design, build, and testing of electrical and communication systems
- Assisting with component selection and electrical system layouts
- Carrying out engineering calculations and supporting system validation
- Producing technical drawings, reports, schematics, and other engineering documentation
- Collecting and analysing data from testing and trials
- Supporting installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities
- Assisting with fault diagnosis and maintenance of electrical systems
- Working with engineers, technicians, and external contractors during installation and commissioning
- Supporting technical reviews and wider engineering projects
- Ensuring work is completed in line with relevant safety standards and engineering requirements
- Assisting with the development of electrical systems for new projects and installations

Graduate Electrical Engineer Requirements
We're looking for a curious and motivated graduate with a genuine interest in engineering and clean energy.
Required:
- 1st class degree in Electrical Engineering, General Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals
- Some practical engineering experience through university projects, internships, placements, or personal projects
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Genuine interest in renewable energy and low-emission technologies
