Description of the Role
Due to the company's continued growth, there is an exciting opportunity to join our small team of engineers.
In this position you will be required to design and implement custom solutions, develop and improve existing current sensors. Provide engineering input on new product design on a variety of aspects such as CE compliance, power supply design, analogue design and even mechanical aspects of product housing. Also, you will be producing detailed reports and documentation for customers, or to support the product design or calibration teams and help develop automated test processes for larger volume and new products.

The successful candidate is expected to develop quickly and progress to Senior Engineer in 2 to 3 years.
The successful candidate will have to be able to work across a diverse range of functions, and work collaboratively across the company.
Essential Requirements
- A minimum of 1st class or 2:1 degree BEng or BSc (hons) or equivalent in electronic / electrical engineering or related area at a Russell Group or equivalent University.
- Proactive and able to be highly autonomous
- Communication skills – excellent communicator who can write and speak well, and maintain positive relationships with staff, suppliers and customers.
- High level knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Desirable Requirements
- The ability to design PCB from schematic capture.
- A good working knowledge of SPICE or other circuit simulation packages
- A good working knowledge of MATLAB
- A high level of CAD drawing capability
