Closing date: 15 September 2026

Royal London is the UK’s largest mutual life, pensions and investment company. We’re owned by our members and work for their benefit, not shareholder profits, and that makes us different.

We're looking for ambitious, creative and intellectually curious graduates to join our Graduate Enterprise Leadership Programme, starting in September 2027. Through three placements across Royal London, you'll develop judgement, commercial understanding and relationships needed to become a future enterprise leader.

What We Offer

  • £33,000 starting salary (higher for placements in London) plus performance bonus
  • Double-matched pension contributions (up to 14%) and life assurance (up to 8x salary)
  • 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with the option to buy/sell up to 5 days
  • Private medical insurance and 24/7 access to health, legal and financial advice
  • Hybrid working, excellent office facilities, and locational support for placements away from your home office
  • Access to inclusion networks, business-wide events, and leadership communities

Your Leadership Journey

You will complete three placements across the full Royal London Group, gaining experience in different teams, disciplines and locations.

Along the way you will:

  • Contribute to projects with real business impact
  • Use data and insight to support decision-making
  • Work with colleagues and leaders from across the business
  • Bring fresh thinking and challenge constructively
  • Collaborate with your graduate cohort on business projects
  • Develop your commercial awareness, confidence and leadership capability

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
