Are you highly organised, great with numbers and enjoy solving complex problems?

A leading large format print and retail display specialist based in Newcastle is looking for a Graduate Estimator to join our commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to develop a long-term career within a dynamic manufacturing and retail communications business.

No print experience is required. We are looking for individuals with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and confidence working with data and spreadsheets.

About the Role

As a Graduate Estimator, you will learn how to calculate the cost of producing large format graphics, retail displays and point-of-sale campaigns for some of the UK's leading brands and retailers.

Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will:

  • Analyse project specifications and requirements.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates using company systems and Excel.
  • Calculate material, production, packing and distribution costs.
  • Interpret data and identify the most cost-effective production solutions.
  • Work closely with Client Services, Sales and Production teams.
  • Ensure projects are commercially viable while maintaining quality standards.
  • Develop an understanding of manufacturing, supply chain and project costing principles.

We're Looking For

We would love to hear from candidates who have:

  • A degree in Mathematics, Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics or a related subject.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Excel.
  • The ability to interpret and work with large amounts of information.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • A logical approach to problem solving.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
