Graduate Events Manager
Volta Ventures runs live sales events and in-store retail campaigns for some of the biggest telecoms brands in the country. We're based in Birmingham city centre and we're growing fast, which means we need more people who can lead. We don't hire managers in. We grow them, everyone leading a team here today started in the exact role you're reading about.
How it Works
Your first weeks are spent at our live events and in-store campaigns, talking to customers face to face. Nothing teaches you how a campaign really works faster than running it and being on the frontline yourself.
Once you've got it, things move quickly. You'll start learning about leadership, train and develop others, be responsible for hiring and onboarding, owning targets, running events and retail locations. The end goal is leading teams across multiple sites. How fast you get there is dependant on level of input.

A Week Here Will Include
- Setting up at a live event and talking to hundreds of people by the end of the day
- Interviewing candidates
- Training others and teaching back
- Tracking team KPIs and performance levels
- Personally developing through company resources

Any degree subject. No management experience needed. We'll teach you everything from day one.
What We Give You
- Proper management development programme: from trainee to team leader to running your own campaigns
- Base salary + uncapped commission
- Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with extra hours there if you want to earn more
- Travel around the UK and abroad
- Networking events, team nights out and Rising Stars events for the people who deliver

Finding Volta
Birmingham city centre, a few minutes' walk from New Street, Moor Street and Snow Hill, with buses and trams on the doorstep. Our team commutes in from Solihull, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Walsall, Dudley, West Bromwich, Sutton Coldfield and further. If you can be in town for 8am, you're close enough.
