Graduate Finance Analyst – Family Office (Tech Investments) £35,000
London
We're recruiting a Graduate Finance Analyst to join a well-established family office, working within a small, close-knit team focused on the valuation of their technology investment portfolio. A great opportunity for a numerate graduate with some investment exposure to build a career in valuations.
Location: London (SW)
Level: Graduate / entry-level
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting the periodic valuation of portfolio holdings, with a particular focus on technology/venture investments
- Working from GP capital account statements, funding round data, and underlying company reporting to assess fair value
- Assisting with comparable company analysis and benchmarking for private tech valuations
- Tracking cap table changes, funding rounds, and dilution impacts across portfolio companies
- Reconciling reported NAVs/valuations against internal records
- Supporting production of consolidated performance reporting (IRR, MOIC, TVPI, DPI)
- Helping build reporting packs for senior stakeholders
- Liaising with portfolio companies, GPs, and third-party valuation specialists

What we're looking for:
- Relevant degree (Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related numerate/STEM discipline)
- Some investment experience gained through an industrial placement, internship, or year in industry – ideally within VC, PE, investment banking, asset management, or a fund administrator/valuations team
- Genuine interest in technology and venture investing
- Strong Excel skills – knowledge of or willingness to learn Python is a plus
- Comfortable working in a small team with a high degree of confidentiality and discretion
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
