Graduate Finance Broker - Commercial Finance

Your sport gave you the mindset. This role gives you the arena.

Salary: £36,000 (OTE £60,000-£80,000 on completion - six figures within reach)

Location: Northampton, East Midlands

Type: Graduate Fast-Track Programme | Permanent

YOU ALREADY KNOW HOW TO WIN

You have trained in the cold. You have played injured. You have lost a final and come back the next season and won. You know what it feels like to push through something when every part of you wants to stop, and you know the satisfaction that comes on the other side.

Our client is looking for that person. Not just someone who played sport - someone who competed, who led, who felt the pressure of a team counting on them and rose to it. Because that is precisely the temperament that succeeds in commercial finance sales.

WHY COMMERCIAL FINANCE?

Commercial finance is one of the most dynamic, impactful sectors in UK business. As a broker you will help SMEs - the businesses that make up the backbone of the UK economy - access the funding they need to invest, hire, grow, and survive. You will work across business loans, working capital finance, asset and equipment finance, and growth capital. Every deal is genuinely different.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
