Overview

A standout opportunity to launch a high-performance sales career in commercial finance. Our client is growing rapidly and is looking for ambitious, competitive graduates to join at an exciting stage of its growth. You will build relationships, win new business, and develop into a successful Commercial Finance Broker.

(This is a sales-focused position - if you are seeking a traditional analyst role, this opportunity will not be the right fit.)

Why should you apply?

As part of the Graduate Finance Broker pathway, you will receive:

  • The opportunity to join a newly launched London office and grow with the team
  • Dedicated 1-2-1 mentorship and coaching from Sales Directors and senior brokers
  • A structured 24-month development programme, rotating through four six-month placements to build broad commercial, sales and client experience
  • Hands-on exposure to prospecting, client conversations, credit proposals, lender submissions and live transactions
  • A clearly defined route to becoming a qualified Commercial Finance Broker

Earnings potential is significant, with uncapped commission once you move into a fee-earning role:

  • £70,000-£85,000 in your first fee-earning year after completing the programme
  • £85,000-£120,000 in Year Two
  • £100,000-£150,000+ in Year Three

The culture is merit-based and performance-led, with progression tied to what you deliver. As you develop, additional benefits can include gym membership, car allowance and private medical insurance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

How the 24-month programme develops you

  • Months 0-6: build the foundations - learn the core finance products, lender landscape and customer profiles while developing confidence in outbound prospecting and opportunity generation.
  • Months 6-12: move closer to the full sales cycle - work alongside an experienced broker, develop client-handling skills and learn how to prepare credit proposals and supporting documentation.
  • Months 12-18: take greater ownership - begin managing smaller transactions from initial conversation through to completion, while gaining exposure to larger and more complex deals.
  • Months 18-24: refine your commercial and sales approach - broaden your exposure to senior leadership and prepare to qualify into a commission-generating broker role.
