Leading AI-Native Audit Platform | Graduate Forward Deployed Engineer | London | £45,000–£60,000

About the Company:

Our partner, an innovative AI-native audit platform, is rapidly transforming the accounting sector by empowering audit firms with cutting-edge technology, strategic capital, and growth initiatives. Headquartered across San Francisco, New York, and London, they leverage artificial intelligence to automate time-intensive mechanical tasks, enabling professionals to focus on critical judgment and client relationships. They are dedicated to scaling accounting firms and are now seeking a talented graduate to join their dynamic team in London as a Forward Deployed Engineer.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate who wants to build a career at the intersection of software development, solutions architecture, and client consulting. You'll be trained up to work directly with partners at leading accounting firms, helping deploy and customise our partner's AI-native platform, to integrate fragmented tooling and automate complex audit methodologies. You'll receive close mentorship from experienced engineers while getting real, early exposure to client-facing work — with the chance to directly influence product development by feeding client insights back to the core team and helping shape the future of AI in audit.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the deployment and customisation of the AI-native platform, working alongside senior engineers with accounting firm partners.
  • Help integrate diverse client systems, such as CCH, Suralink, and QuickBooks, via API solutions.
  • Assist in designing and building data ingestion, parsing, and normalisation pipelines for complex financial files.
  • Develop solutions to transform unstructured data (e.g., PDFs, spreadsheets) into structured, actionable formats.
  • Learn and apply LLM techniques including prompting, structured output, and agent orchestration for audit applications.
  • Support retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) work over extensive document corpora for enhanced accuracy.
  • Gather and relay client feedback and insights to help inform the core product roadmap.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Some experience with relevant AI coding tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar) is desirable.
  • Solid software engineering fundamentals, ideally with exposure to Python, and a genuine interest in practical application.
  • Some exposure to API integration, whether through coursework, personal projects, internships, or placements.
  • An interest in data engineering and a willingness to get stuck into messy, inconsistent real-world datasets.
  • Curiosity about unstructured-to-structured data problems, particularly with documents.
  • Enthusiasm for LLM application development, prompting, and agentic systems — prior hands-on experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
  • Willingness to build client-facing confidence over time, engaging with and presenting to accounting firm partners.
  • A strong appetite for learning and quickly adapting to regulated domains and fast-paced, early-stage environments.
