Location: Manchester
Salary: GBP27,000 - GBP29,000
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Geoenvironmental Consultant to join a growing consultancy based in Manchester. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop their career within the geoenvironmental sector, working on a variety of contaminated land, ground investigation, and environmental consultancy projects.
The successful candidate will join a supportive team and gain practical experience across all stages of geoenvironmental projects, including site investigations, contaminated land assessments, environmental due diligence, and technical reporting.
This position would suit a motivated graduate with a background in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Geoscience, or a related discipline who is looking to build a long-term career within geoenvironmental consultancy.

The Role
- Supporting contaminated land assessments and environmental due diligence projects
- Assisting with Phase 1 desk studies and site investigations
- Undertaking site visits, ground investigations, and soil logging
- Collecting and interpreting environmental and geological data
- Preparing technical reports and project documentation
- Supporting remediation and risk assessment projects
- Working closely with senior consultants and project teams
The Ideal Candidate

- Degree qualified in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Geoscience, or a related subject
- MSc in a relevant discipline is preferred
- An interest in contaminated land and geoenvironmental consultancy
- Strong attention to detail with good written and verbal communication skills
- Keen to develop technical skills and gain hands-on site experience
- Full UK driving licence is desirable
