Graduate Geologist: Manchester

Ref: BY256147

Salary: GBP25,000 - GBP28,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Geologist to join a growing, specialist geotechnical and ground engineering consultancy delivering practical, commercially focused solutions across development and regeneration projects throughout the UK.

The Opportunity

As a Graduate Geologist, you'll work alongside experienced engineers and geologists, gaining hands-on exposure across a varied project portfolio.

Your Role Will Include

  • Assisting with ground investigations and site works
  • Engineering geology and ground condition assessments
  • Ground investigation reporting and interpretation
  • Soil and rock logging
  • Supporting geotechnical assessments and design
  • Site monitoring and data collection
  • Working closely with clients, contractors, and project teams

Requirements

  • Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Strong interest in geology, ground investigation, and geotechnical engineering
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Full and permanent right to work in the UK
  • Living in or near Manchester, or within a commutable distance of the office
