Graduate Geologist: Wolverhampton

Ref: BY256552

Salary: GBP26,000 - GBP29,000

We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist geoscience consultancy for a Graduate Geologist to join its growing technical team in Wolverhampton.

The company delivers specialist subsurface investigations, borehole geophysics, data interpretation, and consultancy services across water, environmental, geotechnical, mining, and renewable energy projects. With experienced geologists and geophysicists working on projects in the UK and internationally, this is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Geologist to build practical, industry-focused experience.

About the Role

As a Graduate Geologist, you'll receive hands-on training and development while supporting field surveys, borehole investigations, geological data collection and interpretation, reporting, and technical project work. You'll gain exposure to varied projects and modern geophysical techniques, with opportunities to develop your technical knowledge and field skills.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
