Graduate Geotechnical Design Engineer : York

Salary: GBP26,000 : GBP30,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Geotechnical Design Engineer to join a growing, employee-owned engineering consultancy based in Yorkshire. Working across major infrastructure, rail, transportation, and civil engineering projects, this is an excellent opportunity to launch your career with a business that invests heavily in graduate development and professional progression.

As a Graduate Geotechnical Design Engineer, you'll support the design and analysis of geotechnical engineering projects, assist with technical reports, calculations and drawings, attend site visits, and work alongside experienced engineers on a wide variety of live projects. You'll receive structured mentoring, chartership support, and exposure to multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements for this Graduate Geotechnical Design Engineer role

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Full right to work in the UK without sponsorship
  • Live in or within a reasonable commuting distance of the York office
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
  • Keen to develop a career in geotechnical design
