Are you a recent graduate with a genuine interest in Health & Safety, workplace wellbeing and risk management?
Looking for a role where you can gain real-world experience, learn from experienced professionals and build a long-term career?
We’re looking for a Graduate Health & Safety Advisor to join our team in Deeside. Working closely with our Health & Safety Manager, you’ll gain hands-on experience across a busy operational environment, supporting everything from risk assessments and safety inspections to incident investigations, compliance and employee engagement.
This is an opportunity to put your degree into practice, develop your skills and make a genuine difference to workplace safety.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assist with risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Support workplace inspections, audits and compliance checks
- Assist with accident, incident and near-miss investigations
- Monitor compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies
- Maintain and review Health & Safety documentation and records
- Support training and safety awareness campaigns
- Help identify opportunities to improve workplace safety and wellbeing
- Track corrective actions and follow up outstanding issues
- Work with managers and employees to promote a positive safety culture

What We're Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is curious, proactive, organised and genuinely passionate about Health & Safety.
Essential:
- A recent degree, in a relevant subject such as: Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Health, Safety & Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, Risk Management or another relevant discipline
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence working with people at all levels
- Good organisational and administrative skills
- Ability to analyse information and produce clear, concise reports
- A genuine interest in Health, Safety & Wellbeing

Desirable:
- IOSH Student or Graduate Membership
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Internship, placement or part-time work experience
- Knowledge of workplace risk assessments
