Graduate - HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment)
Location: Stanlow Manufacturing Complex, Ellesmere Port
Employment Type: Site Based Full Time Role 5 days per week Monday-Friday
Start Date: Autumn 2027 (3 Year Fixed Term)

About the Company
EET (Essar Energy Transition) vision is to be the leading producer of low carbon fuels and establish a blueprint energy transition hub in the North West. EET plays a major role in supplying the Northwest and the wider UK with essential fuels. We produce over 16% of the UK’s road transport fuels, supply key feedstocks to the petrochemical industry, and are investing heavily in low-carbon energy solutions.
We work with major retail fuel brands, supermarkets, Manchester Airport, leading airlines, and regional transport operators. We are also a key partner in the HyNet project, helping to deliver the region’s low-carbon future.

About the Role
Non-Rotational Graduate Programme - This graduate opportunity is designed to develop your capabilities across the full spectrum of HSSE disciplines. You will be part of our site HSSE team, gaining valuable insight into how an Upper Tier COMAH site identifies, assesses, and manages risks to ensure they are reduced to As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP), in line with legal requirements.
Although the programme is not rotational, you will have the chance to work on assignments across various HSSE functions including environmental, process safety, human factors, and emergency response planning. This broad exposure will help you build a strong foundation in both technical and operational aspects of health, safety, security, environment, and quality.
Your role will involve contributing to both project-based initiatives and day-to-day activities focused on identifying and managing safety, environmental, and health risks.

About You
Our ideal candidate will be a Graduate with a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering or a related degree.
They will be highly driven, dedicated and focused individuals, who are willing to learn and develop within EET Fuels. They will be required to be highly literate, with exceptional IT skills in Microsoft programmes.
Successful candidates will be required to be confident communicators, both in written and verbal styles, and hold the confidence to present to a wide variety of Stakeholders; both internally and externally. Resilience and willingness to take responsibility will be highly sought after characteristics within our successful candidate.
