Graduate Hydrogeologist: Wolverhampton
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: GBP27,000 - GBP32,000
An exciting opportunity is available for a Graduate Hydrogeologist to join an established environmental consultancy in Wolverhampton. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience across groundwater, contaminated land, and environmental projects, with full training and support provided.
The Role
- Supporting hydrogeological and contaminated land investigations.
- Assisting with groundwater monitoring, sampling, and site investigations.
- Interpreting groundwater and environmental data.
- Supporting conceptual site models and hydrogeological assessments.
- Assisting with groundwater risk assessments and remediation projects.
- Producing technical reports and data summaries.
- Using GIS and environmental databases to support project delivery.
- Working alongside experienced hydrogeologists, geologists, and environmental consultants.
- Undertaking site visits and fieldwork across the UK.

About You
- Degree qualified in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, Geography, or a related subject.
- A genuine interest in groundwater and the wider water environment.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Comfortable undertaking field-based work.
- Full UK driving licence is desirable.
- Previous fieldwork, groundwater monitoring, or GIS experience would be beneficial.
