Analysts Wanted for Chief Underwriting Office (CUO)

We are looking for highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Analysts to join the global leading speciality insurance group in their Chief Underwriting Office (CUO) within the Reinsurance division. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a career in insurance. In this role, you will act as support to the Underwriting teams. You will support key regulatory processes, help organise events, champion our team culture, and assist with day-to-day tasks and strategic initiatives. If you are eager to learn, great at managing multiple moving parts, and enjoy collaborating across different departments, we want to hear from you.

Key Tasks

Compliance, Risk & Audit Support

  • Regulatory coordination: assist in tracking and managing regulatory requirements for the BMA, PRA, and Lloyd's, including maintaining the Reinsurance Toolkit and signed authorities.
  • Process management: help coordinate the commutation and insolvency register, ensuring Legal, Claims, and Actuarial teams complete their reviews prior to Underwriting sign-off.
  • Risk & resilience: serve as the team’s ‘Risk Champion’ by tracking and managing action items. Support the review of Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and business resilience impact analyses.
  • Audit assistance: act as internal audit support, liaising with the team to manage timelines and ensure deliverables are met.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
