Location & Working Arrangements
This role can be based in Basildon or London. During your initial training and onboarding period, you'll be expected to attend your designated office regularly to support your learning, development, and collaboration with the wider team. Following this period, the role will move to a hybrid working arrangement.

As a Graduate Intelligent Automation Developer, you'll work with cutting-edge tools including Blue Prism WorkHQ, Python, AI technologies, and Large Language Models (LLMs) to develop innovative solutions that transform how we work and deliver value to our clients.
What You Will Get To Do
- Learning to build and maintain automated, AI-first solutions using Blue Prism WorkHQ
- Developing scripts and tools using TypeScript, Python, C#, and SQL
- Designing smart solutions for real business challenges
- Setting up and working with Linux and Windows Server environments
- Exploring and integrating AI and machine learning into automations
- Using LLMs and VLMs to enhance digital solutions
- Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to understand challenges and develop practical solutions
- Contributing to the design, development, testing, and deployment of automation solutions

What We're Looking For
- A 2:1 degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- A genuine passion for technology, automation, and AI
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with programming through university projects, internships, personal projects, or work experience
- Good knowledge of at least one programming language (Python preferred)
- A solutions-focused mindset with the ability to break down complex problems and identify practical solutions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Curiosity and a willingness to challenge existing ways of working
Desirable
- Experience with Python, TypeScript, C#, SQL, or similar technologies
- Exposure to automation, data analytics, machine learning, or AI tools
- Experience working on coding projects outside of university studies
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, APIs, Linux, or software development methodologies
- An active interest in emerging technologies and their practical application within business environments

What You'll Learn


Get help with your application
Your very own career expert that helps elevate your application to the next level.
During your first six months, you'll complete structured training in TypeScript, Python, C#, SQL, and Blue Prism WorkHQ. You'll begin by shadowing experienced developers and contributing to smaller fixes, enhancements, and automations whilst learning our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). You'll also have access to O'Reilly learning resources to deepen your knowledge of machine learning, automation, AI, and emerging technologies. By month six, you'll be confidently contributing to larger projects and building intelligent automation solutions of your own.
