Join Marsh People and Investments as a graduate within our Global Investment Platform and gain exposure to the core disciplines of asset management. You will support how we help institutional investors meet their long-term objectives across public and private markets, through portfolio construction, manager research, investment analysis, and client solutions.
We work with clients to generate ideas, manage risk, and deliver outcomes by taking a total portfolio view. Our approach spans listed equities, fixed income, multi-asset portfolios, hedge funds, private markets, and sustainable investment considerations. We combine rigorous research, market insight, and technical expertise to deliver tailored solutions aligned to each client’s investment objectives.
Our Graduate Programme
Marsh People and Investments is seeking top talent to join our Global Investment Platform on a permanent basis through our graduate programme. This early careers opportunity is designed to build a strong foundation in asset management and give you hands-on experience working on meaningful projects from day one.
Our programme provides exposure to both traditional and alternative asset classes, alongside structured learning designed to accelerate your development across the investment lifecycle. You will work with market-leading specialists and build the commercial, technical, and analytical skills needed for a career in asset management.
3-Year Rotation Programme
This programme is designed as a structured 3-year rotation across key areas of the investment business, giving you broad exposure to the asset management industry and the opportunity to build deep expertise over time.

Our Investments business designs and implements portfolios as well as providing tools and advice to asset owners, such as pension schemes, endowments, foundations and insurers.

Role Description
As a Graduate Investment Platform Analyst, you will assist in developing and delivering investment solutions and advice to clients. Strong technical and numerical skills are essential, as are effective project management and communication skills to collaborate with multiple teams and support delivery of investment outcomes.

We will count on you to:
- Use your strong technical and numerical skills to support investment analysis, client solutions.
- Develop skills and expertise in portfolio construction and asset allocation.
- Leverage your project management and communication skills to work effectively across teams and deliver projects.
- Support the development of investment advice and solutions for institutional clients.
- Contribute to research, portfolio analysis, and reporting across asset classes.
- Work towards CFA qualification as part of the programme.
Requirements
A minimum of a 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline and a minimum of grade B (or equivalent) in A-Level Mathematics.
- Permanent Right to Work in the UK. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.
- Genuine demonstratable interest in financial markets asset classes, portfolio management, and economic principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and structured thinking with the ability to clearly convey ideas and concepts, both in writing and verbally.
- Independent thinking and intellectual curiosity with a proactive, can-do attitude and strong attention to detail particularly when analysing data, portfolios, and reports.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, taking ownership of tasks and the ability to work effectively as part of a team and across different departments.
- Strong quantitative and technical skills, including proficiency and aptitude in mathematics and statistics, and confidence using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, and financial software such as Bloomberg, is not essential but a plus.
- Willingness to use technology and AI to improve efficiency and quality of work with good judgement in checking AI output and knowing when not to use AI.
