Position: Graduate Inward Investment Officer
Location: Inverness
Starting salary: £32,438 per annum. Excellent pension and benefits package.
Contract/hours: Two-year fixed term contract, full-time, 35 hours per week

The role
As a Graduate Inward Investment Officer, you will help attract new investment to the region by coordinating investor visits, developing high-quality marketing and proposition materials, supporting events and responding to investment enquiries. Working closely with colleagues across HIE and partner organisations, you will contribute to projects that showcase the region’s strengths in sectors such as Energy Transition, Space and Life Sciences, while gaining valuable experience at the heart of economic development and investment attraction.

The person
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated graduate educated to degree level in economics, business management, marketing or a related subject. You will have:
- Strong communication, analytical and organisational skills
- A proactive approach to problem solving
- Excellent attention to detail
- Comfort in working collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to use your own initiative
- Commitment to delivering high standards of customer service
